Venues

The Facultad de Filosofía y Letras is located on Plaza Campus Universitario, s/n, 47011 Valladolid, 20 minutes away from Valladolid’s city center. We will be working in three determinate spaces within the faculty building:

  • Salón de grados (third floor’s hall)
  • Sala de Juntas (second floor’s left wing)
  • Aula 201 (second floor’s left wing)

Museo del Patio Herreriano: https://museoph.org/ It is a contemporary art museum located in Valladolid’s city center. On Wednesday 27th at 17:00 we will hold our Workshop by Soniya Patel there

How to get from Madrid to Valladolid

Train
There are over 40 trains a day between Madrid and Valladolid.
Book your ticket in advance at Spanish Railways (RENFE). RENFE information: +34 912 320 320.
IBERIA offers combined flight-plus-train tickets at Train & Fly.

Coach
ALSA runs six Direct Express services per day to Valladolid. There is also one Express Coach to Valladolid every hour. Get your ticket at the airport from a self-service ticket machine (T4, Level 0, Arrivals), or book your ticket in advance from the ALSA website. ALSA Information: +34 902 224 222.

How to get from Madrid Airport to Madrid-Chamartín
Suburban train. A suburban train line (Cercanías) connects Terminal T4 with Chamartín: lines C1 and C10.
Underground. At any of the Airport terminals, take Metro line 8 to Nuevos
Ministerios; then change to line 10.
Taxi. Go to the taxi ranks. Official taxis are white with a red stripe and the Madrid City Council coat-of-arms on their doors.

Car
Valladolid is connected via motorway (autopista) to Madrid (AP-6, N-601).
